Posted - Jan 06 2011 : 07:41:28 AM I "met" Mary Jane in September at the magazine rack of my local Tractor Supply while waiting for my husband. I've been a fan ever since! I am so glad to be a member of the Sisterhood #2513, proudly, and can't wait to make some new friends. I work full time and peruse the site when I have a free minute. The information is overwhelming!
I do know there are no chapters within a reasonable driving distance of me. I would like to participate in a virtual chapter, if there is one available, especially with other people in my area. In the mean time, it's wonderful to know there are other like minded souls out there. I can now prove to my husband I'm really not as strange as I sound sometimes!
Not to talk too much, but a little about me - I'm almost 39, a wife, a full-time elementary librarian, dedicated church member, and a farmgirl at heart. I have GIGANTIC plans for an organic garden this spring (if I can get my man-power to help lay the foundation.) I live in what I call the Deep Woods (see my developing blog at www.mydeepwoodslife.com) Hopefully, I'll have something posted by the time you check it out! I'm far enough out that a cell signal is iffy and internet is only by dial-up.
I'm an obsessive reader, hesitant gardner, blossoming seamstress, experimental cook, and ever so anxious to dip more than just my toes in this new lifestyle. I will close now, because I can talk forever" Any information you can pass on to me will be greatly appreciated. I look forward to getting to know you all!
