Hello all,

I am Carissa, a wife, mother of three small children, a nurse, and much more. We live east of OKC on 15 acres where we are just about 10 days out from finishing and moving into our dream home. I am very excited to be part of the community because I would love to learn how to be a country girl. There are many things i plan on doing with our little piece of property; ie. veggie garden, canning, fruit trees, chickens, some goats, maybe a couple cows, and whatever finds my fancy through the years, but never having done any of these things I have lots to learn. I love cooking (but haven't done alot lately because of the lack of inspiration in my current house), sewing (haven't done much of that lately because of the lack of space), gardening, which I will be getting to do lots of at my new house. I am interested in the Sisterhood thing and earning merit badges and getting my kids involved when they get older. I am considering homeschooling so this would be fun to do with them if we do (or don't). I am excited to look around and start learning and meeting new people with some of the same interests.
