Hi this is the first time loging on to the Farmgirl Connection. I am writing you from St. Maries Idaho and would like to introduce myself. I am the Happy Worker Bee. Mainly because I do it all. I cook, clean, farm and quilt. I have a small 5 acre mini farm, which includes 1 horse, 1 pony, 3 dogs, 5 cats, 1 potbelly pig, 2 roosters and their hen companions counting 13. On top of all that I hold down 2 jobs and I quilt. This year I will be restarting my garden veggie and fruit. And thanks to some good friend I will hopefully learn to can and make jams. I come from a long line of farm girls, in one form or another and have raised my kids as such. I am thrilled to meet a new group and hope that I can make some good internet buddies. Blessing to all, Happy Worker Bee.

Welcome welcome, though to make you feel a bit more tropical, I think we may be a bit more frozen then you, we are at I believe it's 19 below zero right now, but hey, it's warming up. some of our Minnesota neighbors had minus 37 degrees a day or so ago and that is not including widn chill. No wonder we stay in, look for recipes, cuddle and nest.

Welcome Theresa! You will absolutely love it here, this site is a wealth of information......a home away from home. Frozen? How about a measly 1 degree this morning in central Ohio? LOL It's been an unusually cold winter here, but it sure has been a purty one as we've had snow on the ground for many many weeks and I just LOVE snow!

Happy to be a "Raggedy Ann" in a Barbie World!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Hi Theresa - glad you have joined us!! My dad runs a church camp north of you on lake C d'A, and we go through St Maries a lot on our way up the St. Joe for fishing and camping.
