Posted - Jan 22 2011 : 07:45:30 AM Hello everyone. I have lived in the country all my life. The only thing city about me is the air I breathe going through a mall. My husband and I live on Deep Creek Ranch. The land has been in his family since 1905. We raise cattle. I love to cook, read, travel, shop, do genealogy and anything to do with dirt. This site feels real comfy to me.

Welcome Pat! You are lucky to have the background you do...I've only known the city and didn't know what I was doing when I got started. That didn't start me from creating a little homestead right where I am though :D

Great to be introduced to so many wonderful blogs as well. Sandy My Field Days
