Posted - Jan 22 2011 : 08:15:00 AM Hello,
I guess this is the place to start and introduce myself. I've got to admit I've been a lurker off and on for a couple of years.

I just recently left my job and so now I have more time to devote to what I really want to do.
A little about myself. We don't actually own a farm but we have a couple of acres. In the past we have had chickens, goats, rabbits, horses and lots of dogs and cats. Our last horse passed away in September. She was 30 and we are not getting another one due to our age. It just wouldn't be fair to an animal. We had her 26 years.
I still have one small very spoiled dog and 4 lovely grandkids. (Did I really put the dog before the grandkids!)
I love to garden, can and sew.
I have a shop on etsy.com and have listed items that I've made there. Usually I make one for the grandkids and pop an extra one or two in the shop.
I just subscribed to the MaryJane magazine and can't wait to get my first copy. I look forward to chatting with you ladies and learning a lot. Hopefully, I will be able to contribute as well.
Please drop me a line when you have a chance.

Posted - Jan 22 2011 : 12:15:40 PM How divine... we are having a very cold weekend. No robins for us yet. Just snow!
God loved us so much He gave His only son to die in our stead. |

Posted - Jan 22 2011 : 12:12:11 PM Thank you for the warm welcome. I know I will like it here once I get a chance to navigate around a bit.
Guess what I saw today. A robin, actually a flock of robins. That has to mean spring is just around the corner!
