Posted - Jan 25 2011 : 8:21:23 PM Hi there from Lizton, Indiana....the ONLY Lizton in the World! My name is Melissa and I have been spying on all my farmgirl sisters for quite some time now. Eavesdropping if you will...peering over the fence and hiding behind the bushes! But last week, my Mom signed both of us up and now I am an official member! I can post now! Yeah!! No more sneaking up and just reading your posts...now I can contribute! Lizton is a small town of just around 600 people and is about 25 miles northwest of Indianapolis. I live in the country on a small farm (2 1/2 acres) and raise 4 kids (the two legged kind right now). According to my son, goats are in our future! We have 2 large gardens, do a lot of canning/freezing, raise meat chickens and layer chickens, have 2 dogs, a cat, a gerbil and am involved in 4-H. I have lived in Ohio, California, Colorado, and now Indiana. I am hoping to meet other like-minded sisters both near and far.
