Posted - Feb 04 2011 : 3:15:20 PM I am so happy to have found MJF! I happened upon five of the MJF magazines at my local Half Price Book store and was hooked. I am now a proud owner of a subscription and several back issues.
My husband and I had a small farm many years ago but now live at the beach. I have an herb garden on my deck and this year we are planting a small vegetable garden. Would love to have a milk goat and some hens but alas, not allowed where I live.
I am an oil and acrylic painter, amateur photographer, love to cook and love anything vintage. Thanks for letting me be a part of your farm girl lives. |

Posted - Feb 04 2011 : 9:05:29 PM Hi Island Gal, welcome to a great place to hang out! I'm in Tx too, up here by San Angelo, Texas. I love the beach, go on cruises out of Galveston every chance I get because I love the water, sand, and surf. BUT it's always nice to come home to our little 5 acres in the country:-)
