Posted - Feb 04 2011 : 7:22:01 PM I am so happy to finally be on MaryJane's Farmgirl Connection. I am a retired RN, living in East Texas. I love the people and the place. We just bought our retirement home and in 2012 will move to Brown County, Indiana. While I will really miss Texas, I can't wait to get home again to Indiana. I miss autumn so much. We have 13 acres there, so hope to have chickens again and gardens. I love to knit, cross stitch, crochet, sew, quilt, do stained glass, pretty much just love all crafts. I'm Mom to two wonderful young adults, Gram to the two most scrumptious grandbabies in the world, and wife to my best friend of almost 40 years. Looking forward to making new friends and learning lots. Karin |

Posted - Feb 08 2011 : 06:37:07 AM Hi Kim... I remember those shifts. I did nights in L&D. The unit was either empty all night or we were overflowing. The babies sure were sweet though. I'm sure you're going to love MJF forums.

Posted - Feb 07 2011 : 4:07:03 PM Hello... I am so excited about becoming a farmgirl. I have a small 3 acre spread in Northeast Alabama. I have 12 hens and a rooster. I always have a summer and fall vegtable garden and of course my flower garden. I have planted several fruit trees this year. I love to knit and garden! Unfortunaly, I am a nurse who works the graveyard shift so most of my online time will be during the morning. |

Posted - Feb 05 2011 : 11:29:17 AM Hi Karen, I live south of Decatur, Tx. Glad to know another gal from Texas. We have Angus cows. The hawks, coyotes, and raccoons finally ate all our geese and chickens. Now I only have a dog who loves my husband more than me and a cat. The cat loves everybody. I love to do lots of things. Gardening is the best thing I can do. I still keep trying on the rest of the crafts. Have a good day.
