Posted - Feb 10 2011 : 12:19:11 PM I guess I have been away for quite a while, and I am happy to say that I'm back...now I have a heck of a lot of catchin' up to do since it's been almost three years!
Life take us on journeys, some good, some bad and sometimes we have to get lost sometimes before we find ourselves again, no?
Happy to be a part of this terrific group...

Posted - Feb 11 2011 : 05:30:15 AM Thanks for the Welcome !! The name of our Farm & Busiiness is Notforgotten Farm ~ and was coined by my sweet Hubby, Peter. When we first married, almost 25 yrs ago, we lived in the city in CT,...and we dreamed of raising lots of children and owning a farm...we found out after 7 years of infertility treatments that we would probably never become natural parents, so we turned our thoughts to moving to the country in VA...we purchased 30 acres and planned on building a farmhouse, but I found out I was pregnant!!! so for another 8 yrs we lived in CT and put the country on the back burner...when our daughter Hannah was almost 8 yrs old, we made the decision to finally move to VA, where we purchased an adjoining 53 acres & farmhouse next to our already owned property ~ we never forgot our dream of having a farm...although we have Hannah, we made up for not being able to have more kids by raising goats, donkeys, sheep, chickens, ducks. rabbits, dogs cats & baby 'possums!!!!! ~ so there you have it...the story behind Notgforgotten Farm ~ :)
