Posted - Mar 21 2011 : 09:41:12 AM Never mind finding a chapter, I can't even find any local farmgirls. There just aren't many around here at all. Good luck with finding a chapter where you live. I read the forum every day, but it would so wonderful to meet with some farm girls face to face.

Posted - Mar 21 2011 : 08:55:13 AM Welcome Donna from a Florida farmgirl at heart! I had a Florida chapter but no one from Florida lived close to me so it never became what I wanted. So, I incorporated it into my co-op that I started and that keeps us busy enough.
If you'd like to join my co-op please email me for the link!!! Have a Blessed Day! Marsha

Posted - Mar 10 2011 : 11:56:31 AM Hey Donna, sometimes chapters get started and then sort of fade away.... I know...we had a chpt. in our area several years ago & the leader became M.I.A. so a few of us tried to keep it going....but, as we say, sometimes, "Life gets in the way of Life"....but we do try to email and gather up once in awahile.
For sure, put it out there that you would love to 'meet-n-greet' with any MJF gals in the are,,,maybe a lite lunch & a couple hours of Junktiquing...Fresno is probablly a gold mind of junk/antique/thrift shops.... And don't be shy to send emails to gals in your vacinity to get together. Shoot, if I were living out in Biola, i'd be junktiquing with you in a heart beat. P.S. it's raining cats & dogs here, so I know you all must be having great weather there! lol!

Posted - Mar 08 2011 : 8:16:39 PM HI Donna- I am from Long Island, NY and had the SAME problem...there was a local chapter listed just 15 min or so away and I contacted them twice and NEVER heard back from them. Frustrating for sure, but dont let it dampen your spirits...you will find lots of wonderful girls here, and as Kristin said, perhaps you can eventually start your own chapter. Thats what I am thinkin of doing! Smiles, Laurie Farmgirl Sister#1403
