Posted - Aug 23 2011 : 5:39:49 PM I reside in Durango Colorado and am excited as all get out over this group. My husband teased me saying I was a giddy as a school girl over my new membership. He's probably right. I'm not very computer savvy but I look forward to all the things I can explore here. (I hope I posted this right.)

Posted - Aug 25 2011 : 4:28:43 PM Hi Seana! Welcome from NE Ohio. I thoroughly enjoyed your blog, even though there was a lot of that dirty(s)word in there.(snow) hahaha Here in Ohio, where the weather gets pretty wicked in winter, we get tired of the(s)word after about 2 months of it! lol Of course, I've always wanted to learn how to cross-country ski, but we have to travel a ways to find anyplace to learn that! It's a catch 22!hahaha So...a Gal after my own heart....I love to bake too, even more than cook&garden! You'll love it here! These Gals are great! P.S. I see that your son is your "Pride&Joy!" ...just a guess...lol

Posted - Aug 23 2011 : 6:51:27 PM Since I did that right , now I should tell you a bit about me... I garden, bake, cook, bake, weave pine needle baskets, bake, collect old cookbooks, bake, sew, oh.. did I mention bake? I've earned the nickname "the cookie lady" in my circle of friends. I don't have any proper farm type critters - just 2 dogs & a cat. I'm a wife and a mom and work way too much some weeks. I guess that about sums it up. Hope to connect with other bakers as I explore the site more. Good Vibes to all!
