Hello Lynn, welcome to the sisterhood! I too, am looking for land (just started). It is interesting what you find out once you get going. The places we went to this past weekend were in an area we decided we definitely did not want to go to! But we didn't know that until we checked it out. I had been thinking of Colorado too, I am thinking you were saying the mining was in Manitou Springs area, or is it all of Colorado??
Hugs,
Terri

Thanks all!!
CJ, my husband & I have R.V'd to Colorado each year for the past 6 yrs. or so to both visit my cousin in Manitou Springs & to look for land.
We have discovered there is much mining of gas that the water is not good. Since we grow our food, we are re-thinking this move.
Chris, glad the organizing tips helped.

Thanks for the wonderful welcomes!
Yes Penny I will check out the over 50 pg.
Here are some organizing tips for Kris & Marianne:
The first step is to purge anything you haven't worn or used in a year and that you can rebuy if you need to.
Get them out of the house immediately so you aren't tempted to take it back.
Donate, recycle or sell what you can. Have a designated box or bag labeled donate, trash, sell.
Next, group items together (all books, desk things, etc) label the box you put it in and put each box of grouped items in the room it will be used in.
Look at what you have, make or purchase organizing products and arrange them on shelves, in drawers etc. and label drawers, shelves, bins etc.
Hope this helps

Welcome, Lynn. Can you come to my house any time soon? I need a professional organizer here really bad. I have started cleaning out my computer-craft room and I have no idea how to organize it. I have some ideas of what I need but I have to use what I have right now. Any ideas would be great!

Lynn,

Welcome, I already admire anyone who is a professional organizer as I am amateurishly unorganized!! Maybe you can share some tips! Enjoy MJF!
