I am so excited to be a Farmgirl! I have always felt like one. We have jammed, sewn, baked, taken care of animals, recycled, reused,etc.. I live in a great Agricultural community(, My parents always had a large garden even in a tract home!,We've been organic for ages and I am starting a Permaculture Garden/Life and will soon be taking over the front yard! We planted 7 trees with 6 guilds and have 4 more to plant!! We are in the County part of town even so we have chickens 6 right now. many fish and are expecting several Labrador Puppies hopefully tonight!!our Sundance(yellow) is being extra extra loving/needy We have 4 children and look foward to sharing this with them. I will let you know how many....I just told my hubby if there's a black I may have to change from the chocolate pup we had planned to keep..ofcourse its all up in the air until she has them.

Warmly,
Stacy~Creativemuse

hey Stacy,

I so miss living in Ventura CO... (Moorpark)... (I worked in VTA and drove the 118 from Mrpk to the backside of VTA thru Somis & Saticoy.
Does Oxnard still have the Strawberry Fest?
My family moved to Newbury Park in mid '69...I so miss it.
Where in Cam do you live? west side of the 101 or east side. I often times took Lewis road to hit my favorite haunts.
When I left SO.CAL. that "Oxnard Outlet" was nearly a ghost town while the Cam.Outlet was awesome & flurishing. Is the OX. outlet mall still around or? I know the Chumash tribe wanted to open up a Casino there but Sheriff Brooks was aginst it. Now that he is retired & Sheriff Dean is in command I wonder if the Chumash will try again.
You can take the girl out of Newbury Park/Moorpark,,, but ya can't take the Newbury Park/Moorpark out of the girl!

Thank you for your kindess Chris, Julie, and Audrey. All kiddos feeling Great. Mom feeling good shopping lots on Etsy and hoping to get some great great advice from you all! I posted a question on suggestions.

Sundance hasn't gotten her manners back yet. After I butter the toast and head off to deliver kids to school that Sundance gets that butter and it's all gone by the time I come home! Funny dog!

you know a funny thing has developed from this. my hubby picked this puppy over the one I wanted mine was trying to find a way out of the garage his was being cudddled by the kids....i said she has fear in her eyes......this dog has has had SOOOO much love...we call her (BASED ON Cesar the dog whisperer) ready Agreesively SUBMISSIVE..she flops back on the floor anytime you see her and always pensive ears.
she still flops you still would think she's never loved (she's so greedy on love) but the ears have turned back to a happy LABRADOR!!! LOVING THE EARS!!
thought you'd all like that

Warmly,
Stacy~Creativemuse

Sorry girls for reporting so late Sundance had a false pregnancy she fooled us all. Picture 4 sweet children on a park bench coloring dog pictures in the vets office who bends down and pronounces NO puppies. 4 sets of watery eyes look up and echo no puppies? not this time says Dr B. So so sad ...I'm further away and can say we will try again. I hadn't had a moment to respond due to sadness and then I jumped into my Bunco at my home for Christmas Dec1 and little boy gets impetigo that same week so while I thought lots could be done not so much was.He is a nesting kiddo baby blankets fuzzy blankets and he slides in. I had some very small nights up i was washing into the wee hours of the morning and trying to get the house in order. Nothing like jump starting christmas tried to do flyladys crusing thur the holidays and reminded by her you all and maryjane one step at time and I am not MS inc. I LOVED all your sweet welcomes and wishes! I have recovered my sleep and ready to post and shop here on this great sisterhood site!!!

Camarillo, I love that area. My mom and all her sisters used to spend the summer at our uncles ranch in Somis. I wish it was still there and in the family, the stories she tells! And labardor puppies! I love labradors. I've had 4, all colors. Now I have a 5 year old chocolate. Keep us posted when the babies are born, I would love to see pictures.
