Posted - Nov 29 2011 : 6:29:57 PM Hello! I just discovered this site today and spent some time looking around before joining. I'm jess, a 34 year old at home mom to 2 teenagers, from Grand Rapids, MI. I live in the city, without more than a city sized yard, but we dug up some backyard for gardening and also used an otherwise unused side strip of yard for berries and pumpkins this year. We have a house full of pets, 2 dogs, 2 lizards and a rabbit. Chickens would be lovely, but there's an ordinance against them Anyway, I guess that may be more info than you wanted, but there's my intro lol

Posted - Nov 29 2011 : 10:29:27 PM Julie, I see that you are from Arcadia. I live down towards Madison. My cousin used to work at Ashley as a designer. It's been years, but we used to go see her. She took us out for lunch at an old hotel with this great screened in porch. Can't think of the name of it. Just saw you were from there and it brought back nice memories of going to see her! :)

I would love to have chickens too but like you we also have laws against that here in the suburbs.
Cheers! ~ Marilyn
