I don't know where to post things. I don't have a henhouse or a chapter here on the Oregon coast.
But I wanted to say that I just ordered a whole bunch of MJF food, including an emergency pack. (We get a lot of storm power outages here.)
But also, I've had a hard time cooking for one since my mother died in 2008. So this is getting me started back to cooking again. I made scones for two (and ate both of them) this morning with scrambled eggs. Only I was out of lemon juice, so I used tangerine juice, and frozen blackberries because I picked mass quantities last summer.
I want to share these things (there's more) because being a Farmgirl is important to me, and accomplishing these little goals helps so much. but i dont' knw where in the forum to go. |

Welcome to the forum!
Most people chat in the "Across the Fence" section for just everyday general chat and then there are various "folders" set up for specific content like gardening or reading for example. I hope you enjoy your time here on the forum! The ladies are awesome and we have some great resources here!

Waldport OR is such a great place love the beach I cook for one all the time the freezer is my friend.

Hi Nan. There are so many different places here. There is a Farm Kitchen to post about foods and such. Just look in the top left hand corner of this page and click on All Forums and you will see on the left all the different threads and just go to one that looks like a good place to post on the topic you want to talk about. I hope this helps a little. And welcome!
