Oh Wow! I believe it's been over a year since I was here!

So much has happened. Some great, some good, some bad and some ugly... but through it all I became stronger and even more of a MJ Farmgirl than ever before. (Haven't got a clue as to why I didn't log on for so long)
I had been unemployed for the longest time. I'm sure I complained about it on a regular basis here, lol. But last year, my best friend put me in touch with a woman that just needed some help... working on a FARM! Pun intended, but I was in hog heaven! It was long hours, hard work, hot, sweaty and dirty. I loved every minute of it. The freshest vegetables and fruits that I could get my greedy little hands on... only fertilized with compost and manure, no pesticides! Oh my! (no haters, please ) The family that owned the farm are the most wonderful people. I was so blessed and peaceful! Sadly, the season ended and I had to find another job for the winter... retail, ugggg! But I just got a call this week from my boss at the farm, "checking up" on me. Actually, I think it was more like she was hoping that I Didn't find a better job, hahaha! She asked me back and I didn't even let her finish the sentence... My oldest daughter is going with me and we are going to be looking for a new home near there.
Anyway, enough blathering on... I'm heading on to other topics to scope things out
So happy to be back!

Nice to see you again, Sherri. The job sounds great--not hating, I swear. ;) And how cool that your daughter is excited about farm work now too.
