I just paid my first membership dues. I'm a 59 year old sort of city girl (live in city, but heart in country). I use about 1/4 of my back yard for vegies and as many pots as I can get my hands on. So, what can I jump into?

I love it here, but would love an actual FarmGirl group, not just the virtual group - which I am loving - but a Farmgirl chapter club too. Can anybody help me out?
Thanks.

Hugs and Squishies!!

Thanks for all the welcomes.
I would love to keep chickens, but the county I live in will not allow even one chicken. Even though all my neighbors wouldn't care as long as I keep it clean. Oh poo!

Welcome Kathy! Nice to have you here. Farmgirl is a state of mind and it sure sounds like you've got the bug. Urban homesteading is getting more and more popular and important. Think about keeping small animals? Chickens are good for a small space. Bees? Good luck to you and again, welcome!
