Hi Everyone!

I actually looked at joining a year ago, then forgot about it until the National Glamping event came up on the Loyal Order of the Glamper FB page. Great idea!

I am a mom of 2, computer programmer turned manager (girl geek), Campfire Leader, vintage trailer owner (1965 Kit Companion - SOTF #1927), chicken raiser (2 hens, 1 chick in a birdcage on my kitchen table), sewer, crafter, gardener and baker. I try a lot of crafts and ideas out, but don't have enough time to do all of the many things I want to try.

Looking forward to exploring this site and meeting ladies with similar interests!

Hello Wendy ...

Welcome to the farm! Lots of fantastic and talented women here. I've only been here since last July. I'm in Cupertino, CA with another place in Oakhurst, CA. I have 2 Oregon grandsons ... home in Bend but one is currently at UofO, Eugene - graduating this June - and the other is currently tango-ing someplace in Argentina (having graduated from Berkeley in December).

I know you'll enjoy it here. But it's addictive! So many incredible farmgirls to get to know.

Hello Wendy. I'm new too and down south from you in Canyonville. I homeschool 2 little girls and I like to do all sorts of crafts. Dotee dolls are my favorite. I have a collection growing. Take care.

Hi Wendy!

Long live the Girl Geeks! I love doing all kinds of crafts, but I'm not a glamper. It does sound kinda fun, though.

Hope you enjoy the Farm.

Welcome!

If I had enough time to do all the crafts I like, I wouldn't be doing anything but crafts LOL. Oh but that would be fun wouldn't it?

Hi Wendy and welcome. Like you I enjoy too many things. I keep telling my husband that I have to give up my job so I have time for everything else but he isn't buying it.
We are actually moving to Portland for 13 weeks starting 4/24/12. I'm so excited and hoping we can meet up sometime. We leave 4/1/12 and plan to sightsee along the way. I am already missing my Florida sunshine a little but so happy to be going to the Pacific Northwest.
You will have fun here. It's a GREAT bunch of sisters. Joey

Hi Wendy from Oregon. I'm Kathryn from Oklahoma. Girl geeks are great; you're lucky to be one. I like to do a lot of different kinds of things too, but, like you I don't have much time to do it all... Have a good time here; you'll love it.
