Hi! My name is Dani. I just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. I am from Minnesota. I was going to join awhile back but life got busy and you know how it goes. My mom introduced me to the magazine awhile back and I fell in love with it. My family is from Southern California originally and though several family members do not embrace life away from the city I adore it. My family (but really my mom and I) raise alpacas, I knit (with all that lovely alpaca how could I not?), I adore gardening, DIY, crafts etc.

Hi Dani,

I live in Maine now but grew up in the Midwest (Illinois) and I have relatives in Minnesota so have been there many times. What a beautiful state!
Wonderful to have you here,

Welcome Dani! I'm your neighbor to the west in South Dakota. Have you ever gone to the North Country Fiber Fair?
I don't knit, but I do make goat's milk soap and am a vendor at the North Country Fiber Fair http://northcountryfiberfair.wordpress.com/. I love the event... "real" people - kinda like the people here. If you do, make sure you stop by and introduce yourself! Marnita, you, too! That would be very neat to meet some of the people on here!

Welcome, Dani. How wonderful that you raise Alpacas. I am from the upper peninsula of Michgan and live in town, so do not have any animals, except our Yorkie. I am sure you will enjoy it here. Lots of support and friendship here.

I am originally from No. California. Transplanted to WA at this point in my life. Love all the items you mentioned. Would LOVE to work with alpaca yarn, but only did that once. You enjoy the fruits of your labor!

Welcome!
