I wanted to say a big hello to all the farm girls out there. I live in the Pineywoods of East Texas. I have horses, chickens, quail, 3 cats and 3 dogs. Garden and fruit trees take up most of the front and side yard. I love the old traditional ways of doing things.

Hey there and welcome!
I'm in the Houston area and it's probably not too far to make a visit or meet up somewhere in between us.
Our farmgirl chapter has an annual campout/glampout in October at a horse ranch not too far from Madisonville.

Hi Lori and welcome! This is a wonderful place for meeting friends and learning great things. We lived in Longview, in the Pineywoods of Texas until my husband retired and he moved us back north. Miss Texas every day. I know you're going to love it here.

Good morning from Tx. I am working on my raised beds for spring and making pepper sauce from the peppers I have before we get a freeze.
