Good evening everyone. My name is Stacy and I'm a new Farmgirl. My husband and I have been married for 24 years. We have one son who is beginning his sophomore year in college. My hobbies are quilting, genealogy, and reading. I've subscribed to Mary Jane's magazine for a couple of years now and finally decided to join the Sisterhood. I look forward to participating in some of the activities here on the forum and hopefully will be able to earn some of the Farmgirl merit badges.

Hi Caron! We're practically neighbors, aren't we? I met my husband in Orange 24 years ago. We were both working for the same construction company at one of the plants there.
CJ, Carole, and Brenda, thanks so much for the great welcome!

Hope everyone has a safe and happy Labor Day weekend!

Hi Christy925! I know Mineral Wells! I worked for a while on a construction job at the power plant in Palo Pinto in the early 90's. Thanks for the welcome!
Thank you, Bonnie! I was fortunate to have a job years ago that allowed me to travel a lot. Made it up to Minnesota several times. It's beautiful country there!
Hi Katmom! You're so right! Texas is very well represented here!
Have a great evening everyone!

Hi Stacy and welcome! My husband is from Mineral Wells, TX. I lived there for about 3 years and he moved me back to Michigan to be near my children. I joined the farmgirls when I lived in Texas. I had nobody to talk to and nothing fun to do in the middle of nowhere :( So glad I joined. It's been fun. Enjoy, there's lots to do here.

Welcome, Stacy! You are from my home state, though I don't remember if I have heard of Liberty before. What part of Texas is that near?

So glad to have you here. Looking forward to seeing your posts.

Thanks so much to you all for your greetings! For you Texas gals, I'm in the SETX area, upper Gulf Coast.
Teresa, it's pretty soggy here, too. Lots of rain this week!
Krista, I really enjoy quilting, though I have more tops than completed quilts right now. I'm also an avid genealogist. Not sure what merit badges I want to start with!
Karin, Texas certainly makes a lasting impression on a person, doesn't it?
Winnie, I lived in Florida for a while-Pensacola. Loved it!
Catscharm74 and Sara, Howdy to y'all, too!
Hope everyone has a great weekend! I'm off to explore The Farm!
