Posted - Aug 31 2016 : 5:55:23 PM Hi! My name is Desarae. I grew up a country girl in Nebraska, but moved to the big city in Minnesota for 14 years, before returning 2 1/2 years ago. I purchased my dream property back in December. I live on 10 acres with 7 acres of alfalfa that I lease out, along a creek. My projects this year was getting the chicken coop up and going and raising 29 (I know why not 30) chicks. I now have 28 pretty ladies and one head strong rooster(who doesn't crow), named Caesar. I also got my fur baby, Lucy in February who is a Golden Retriever. I am excited to find like minded ladies who share a vested interest in living on the land. |
