Posted - Jun 04 2005 : 1:11:19 PM Hello all,
My name is Caryn and I'm 28 and I live in Enumclaw,WA outside city limits. I am on the Sunrise side of Mount Rainier about 36 miles from the entrance. There are lots of dairy farms here. And lots of deer, elk, possums(usually squashed on the side of the road),coyotes, and racoons. I usually get to see deer alot during the spring and summer as they come to my yard and eat my roses and other plants. I have always loved the country and the animals too.
I have lots of farmers from my grandpa's side, and I'm the only one that has the gene for it, a calling for it, in my family.
So far, I can only dream of it and read lots and lots of books on farming I do have a cat, Pooh Bear, he's about 12 or 13 years old.
I have been teaching myself to knit and crochet. I really want some chickens, but I have to wait until I get my own place.
I am glad to have found this website. |

Posted - Jun 04 2005 : 1:18:31 PM Hi Caryn!
My oldest and dearest friend (we've been friends for almost 28 years now) grew up in Washington and worked at the Mt. Rainier ski resort for quite awhile, she's still in Washington, near Seattle :) Welcome to the group!
