I've read MJ's magazine for the past year and a half or so, and absolutely fallen in love with the idea of farm girl living. Fills the spot in my romantic country heart that's been looking for something more to life. Born a city girl (nothing I could do about that), I grew up near Tacoma, WA. Moved to Idaho, near Boise, back when I was 11, and loved the wide open spaces, the small ag industries, and the laid back atmosphere. Now I'm on a mission to build myself a life focused around independancy, old-fashioned values, and small community. And it's gonna be great to have y'all along, to learn from, to laugh with. I'll ask your forgiveness ahead of time, I'm not very familiar with online forums, so I anticipate making gobs of mistakes. Live and learn, I suppose! Anyway, I look forward to getting to know everybody!!

Welcome, Jodi!

No mistakes - only some fabulously talented women that you can ask questions of! I am a newby myself, so I'm not really here to give you advice. Just wanted to say *HI* and LYK (let you know) that everyone here is super friendly and welcoming. I've been keeping busy just going back reading over posts from the past 2 years...lots of good, helpful information about being able to live a more simple life.

Hope y'all are having a *great* day!! ~ K

Welcome, Jodi. I was born a city girl myself, and am currently in the process of correcting that mistake! :) Enjoy and participate in this forum. It's fantastic!
