Sorry CarrieAnne, my husband is active duty Navy and we have been on shore duty (Great Lakes) for the past two years. He got called back early, so we are going back to Va. Beach in June. Now that I know so many farmgirls are in the area, I sorta wish we were staying, but knowing there are several in VA too makes it fun to think of that as well.

Hi CarrieAnne, Welcome from one WI farmgirl to another. I've been in the Wauwatosa/Milw area most of my life, but moved to the northwoods last Dec.(Tomahawk area). Do you visit Old World Wisconsin in Eagle? I worked there for 6 years. Looking forward to getting to know you better.

Thanks for the Welcome, everyone! Eren, I am a few miles west of Milton, and I guess South of Whitewater.....nearest big city would be Janesville. I've neverbeen to Kenosha, but you said not for long? Where are you moving to? LOL, closer to me?

CarrieAnne:

Welcome! This is an *excellent* place to be! Prepare yourself for some helpful ladies, great recipes, and wonderful ideas that flow with abundance and grace here. I'm still a "newby" myself and am having a blast going through "tips" from the past two years.

I've been through Whitewater - very nice town!! (My folks live about 40 minutes away from you in Roscoe, IL.) Glad you're here! (And you too, Rose Mary!) ~ K
