Hi everyone! I am so excited to have found a forum like this. DH and I moved back to Montana a year ago. We live 1 block inside of the city limits - which precludes us from having any livestock or poultry. Our 5 year plan is to buy a few acres just outside of town so that we can have a few animals. We are preparing to use the Square Foot Gardening method this spring. We enjoyed last years garden very much. The children really enjoyed helping and seemed to learn a lot.
We have 3 young children and also homeschool. I'm off to see what I can learn

Hi Amber!
Welcome to the group. I never got a chance to make it to Billings, but I have visited Helena and Great Falls, as I used to live just north of Montana in Alberta, Canada. Montana is so beautiful - you're a lucky gal to be living there! Enjoy your time in the chatroom here, there are a lot of great people.

Hi Amber,
Welcome. So glad you get to put in a garden. We'll be working on raised beds this year. Have fun.

That is wonderful news! Hopefully the nice spring weather will return soon- but I know the moisture is going to be great for the area. Can't really argue with precipitation in that area. :)

Thank you. It's stopped snowing here for now. My hubby said they have changed it from 18" to 8" possible.

Hi Amber!

I am originally from Wyoming! Hope you are keeping warm in the snow storm tonight. My mom is trapped in Billings with some friends since the interstates are closed and my dad couldn't get through to the airport.

Hope you enjoy the forum and all the wonderful people on it as much as I do.
