Hi all!

Well - I've only known about MaryJane and her world of inspiration and charm for acouple of weeks now, but ever since my bundle of back issues arrived a few days ago, I feel like I know her, and somehow all of you, intimately!

My husband and I and our two babies (Eva - 2 1/2 and Oliver - 11 months) just moved to Alto, NM (pop. 800, just outside Ruidoso) this past month. I was born and raised in Chicago and cannot believe how much I am loving country life. We are definitely jumping in with both feet. We are currently living on my in-laws "vacation ranch" where there were lots of dogs and horses waiting for us, and my husband is chomping at the bit to add chickens. I am so thrilled to have this site as a resource for all that lay ahead.

And so excited to get to begin this lovely farmgirl way of life that i never even knew I was missing!
