I found this forum not long ago and I have become addicted! I am so lucky to have married a man who can do everything- we live in a suburb of Houston but on the weekends we pile our two boys (5 and 9) and our sweet black lab into the truck for the two hour drive to our 100 acre heaven half-way between here and San Antonio in a small town called Flatonia.
We have a 36 acre pecan orchard that my hubby and dad-in-law planted, a small garden that mom-in-law is teaching me how to work, and a small fruit orchard. We also have several cows and three donkeys.
We plan to eventually move out to the farm. For now I am so happy that I am a housewife. I love crafting, especially mosaics, and I have a terminal case of DIY fever. I LOVE to cook and I am trying to get better at sewing.

I am thrilled that I have found other gals that are like-minded and don't mind getting a little dirty.

I am glad to be among all of you!

Renee

Hi Renee! Welcome to the forum! Your place sounds like heaven on earth. Do you have a timeline for when you get to live there full time? I'm trying to get to my little 23 acre place by the end of the summer.
