It is in the low 70's here in SW Louisiana. It is raining, gloomy looking, foggy, and humid.
I thought I would be able to work outside today. Oh well... I do plan to take a long walk; rain or not!

Heat index of 108F today in Florida. I will NOT be doing any outside work. The day will be spent inside perusing my TBR books, perhaps a little hand sewing. (but come November/December etc I will be outside every day for sure!)

Vanessa, when we traveled east last summer I finally realized what you guys mean! I love summer and warm weather but the heat you guys have is hard to be in! I would get out of the car and feel like I couldn't breath lol!

THIS is the weather I dreamt of in winter, but it's hotter than the hammered down hinges of heck.

Last night a big storm blew through. Our maple trees lost some large branches, it will take a while to cut it all up and haul it off. It hit my clothesline but that can be fixed. Power was out in the county till close to noon. Nothing else got damaged. Our neighboring Mason County got 114 mph winds and more building damage.

chilly in upstate SC this am. But warming up to 72* today. Then sever storms coming. My cats have been very clingy past 2 days. They can feel a weather system 5 days out. This am sunrise was very pink-a sign of incoming weather. Filling the feeder today and will take it down tomorrow evening. Check in my farm sisters. I hear WI and MI are going to be buried from snow

Today's good mood brought to you by a lot of coffee!!!

We have been going between 20s to 70s here in the Chicago area. Rain, hail, snow and gusting winds have taken turns. Today we have 41 mph winds and it is howling like crazy out there!

There was quite the line of active weather the last few days, stretching from Mexico (in Texas) to Canada (in Michigan)! I hope that all our farmsisters are safe.

Wow! I'm afraid I don't really miss the bitterly cold snowy days that we used to have when we lived in Oregon & Washington. Yes, the ski days on the mountains were fun, but the dark mornings going to work on the slippery roads were not much fun for a girl from DownUnder.
Anyway, it's a balmy 85F here in Queensland today. Humidity is still relatively high considering we are venturing into our autumn months. A little overcast this morning, so perfect weather for getting out into the garden. It seems like our new little house had a lovely garden at some stage, but sadly it was neglected for a very long time. It brings me great joy to be out there bringing it back to life.

HERE in New York we received so far 21" of snow and it's not done yet. Plows just came and buried our driveway with the snow. This is not good.

Utah finally got some snow. Even though I am not happy about the colder temps again, I know our state really needed it. The mountains finally look like winter has arrived.

After a week of pretend spring here in the Chicago area (60s) winter has decided to make a comeback. Today the howling winds make our 28 feel like 11 and we did get a few flurries earlier this morning. What a difference from yesterdays warm sunny 66!

When we get snow at the coast of SC and all of the western states do not, something is definitely mixed up!!
