It is in the low 70's here in SW Louisiana. It is raining, gloomy looking, foggy, and humid.
I thought I would be able to work outside today. Oh well... I do plan to take a long walk; rain or not!

More snow, lovely but I'm tired of it.

HERE in New York we received so far 21" of snow and it's not done yet. Plows just came and buried our driveway with the snow. This is not good.

Utah finally got some snow. Even though I am not happy about the colder temps again, I know our state really needed it. The mountains finally look like winter has arrived.

After a week of pretend spring here in the Chicago area (60s) winter has decided to make a comeback. Today the howling winds make our 28 feel like 11 and we did get a few flurries earlier this morning. What a difference from yesterdays warm sunny 66!

When we get snow at the coast of SC and all of the western states do not, something is definitely mixed up!!

It was 70 here yesterday with full sun. Today upper 60’s. It is not usually like this in February here on the coast of Oregon but I will take it:-)

Oh goodness Vanessa! I think you have our weather! There is still no snow on our ground and we will be in the 50s all week. Definitely no winter wonderland here.

I forgot to share this picture last week. We had some strange freezing fog that would leave ice crystals all over things outside, but it would be completely melted by the afternoon. This happened for 2 nights. The ice crystals on our tree looked so pretty.

All of you in those states suffering from this freeze, please stay warm and safe! My cousin lives in Buffalo, NY and says that it hasn't been so cold in a while.

It's freezing today. It was minus seven this morning and the wind is howling through the trees. We're supposed to be getting one of the biggest snowstorms we've seen in years starting Sunday then going into Monday. I'm not looking forwards to it, even though it is beautiful.

hugs,
Marcy

It is incredibly cold here in the Chicago area thanks to the windchills. We hit -29 this afternoon. Tomorrow shows sunshine but the windchills will make it feel like -18! Stay warm everyone!

It is such an off winter. No snow on the ground for us and temps in the mid 40s. Feels to warm to be January.

We had an inch or so of snow on Saturday and some of it is still on the ground. Cold weather the next few days so I'll be wearing thermals under my jeans.
Did any Florida gals get snow?

We are supposed to get rain for the next week. I wish it was colder so that it would actually be snow instead.

Beautiful view Vanessa! Thank you for sharing with us. After another polar vortex in the Chicago area we are heading up to around 40 for a few days. We still have a lot of snow though I wonder if it will melt before the holiday.
