Posted - Jan 09 2012 : 6:05:53 PM No snow here either in the high desert of Central Oregon. This time last year we were xc skiing. Hiked up to a spring farther up the mountain that is used by wildlife hereabouts, it was dry as a bone. Last year we had record flooding. This was the driest December on record.

Posted - Jan 09 2012 : 4:57:59 PM It is ridiculous here. Seriously, it's Manitoba, it's January - it's NOT supposed to be +5C/40F. We have very little snow in my town (although the further north you go, the more there is. So far.). It's more like spring. I'm not liking it, really. I'd rather have a good couple of feet of snow, lower/colder temperatures & "normal" winter.
Life isn't about finding yourself. It's about creating yourself.
