Posted - Mar 09 2015 : 10:29:51 AM There's this strange, yellowish orb in the sky casting down warmth...wait...IT"S THE SUN! Woo Hoo!
Not only are we having some sun today, but we are above freezing! Almost 50 degrees! Having a heat wave, a tropical heat wave...
The snow is melting. We still can't walk outside because there is hardly enough room for cars with all the snow. I may take my dog over to our main street where there is a sidewalk. This is big news! We are all so sick of the snow and ice and frigid temps! (And we are all sick of grey, dark days, too)! Hope it's sunny where you are all at today. Makes spring seem like it is actually going to arrive soon!
Farmgirl hugs, Nicole

Posted - Mar 14 2015 : 08:35:47 AM Nicole, the sun is playing hide 'n seek with us too. Sunny a couple of days ago ~ overcast and raining ever since. Chance to see the sun later this afternoon. I must remember to remind myself in Aug what clouds and rain look like.

Posted - Mar 09 2015 : 12:24:42 PM LOL! I smell SPRING! I smell SPRING!!! It's like a heatwave here, Nicole! 51 degrees and sunny! I woke up to the cheerful, chirping of birds yesterday morning and just lay there smiling and watching the sun rise! Huzzah! SPRING! I didn't even wear a coat to Mass - it was so warm compared to that horrendous sub-zero windchill we had experienced all those weeks! And it as if the whole world is coming alive again outside! Everything feels so "happy!" I can hardly WAIT to plant my garden! LOL!
Enjoy the sunshine, Sunshine!
Hugs -
