I am enjoying the now cooling down weather of Autumn....
I call it 'sweater weather''',,, I am a lover of Spring and Autumn...
My garden has become a smorgasboard for the deer,,, I am picking the last of my tomatoes and cucs...
And am looking forward to getting back to sewing in comfortable weather...

I agree CJ. We have been getting a storm the last couple of days and it has been getting pretty cold at night. My garden isn't to happy about the quick drop in temperature. But I am! I finally feel like I am not melting.

I'm ready for fall, but I want it to be not too hot and not too cool. So far, the past 3-4 weeks we've had some pretty chilly nights. NOT ready for freezing temps yet, nor is my garden!

oh and fyi,, we decorate inside the galvanize tubs,,, usually bird houses or nests... but the Scrub Jays think it's fun to knock the nests and fake birds out,,, lol!

Would luv a reprieve in the weather with a few rain showers,, but alas, up here,, won't happen until Oct... if we are lucky...
In the mean time we and the cats will just chilaxe in the shade...

Ha -- I was just going to make the "cat days" comment, too. We have had such high humidity and of course it feels like forever. Here in SE PA, we always seem to have 2 or 3 weeks the end of July or the first of August when they humidity is high enough to make us awfully uncomfortable, but otherwise our weather is pretty kind to us. This year, we have had plenty of nice downpours so that the garden is very very happy.

Grace great picture or the "cat" days of summer. Love the chairs and galvanized tubs.
Note of interest: Dog days of summer are called that because in July and Aug the Dog Star raises and sets with the sun.
