Posted - Jan 15 2007 : 05:42:30 AM FYI, I ordered some roving from Robin around Thanksgiving, and it's wonderful! Romney is a great breed for a beginner. I wouldn't recommend a raw fleece for a beginner unless you have someone who can show you how to wash it, because that pile of dirty wool can be pretty overwhelming--but Robin's rovings are great!

Posted - Feb 22 2006 : 10:08:29 PM What do you charge for your roving and raw fleece? What breed of sheep do they come from? I just purchased my first spinning wheel and heddle loom so I am anxious to start 'playing'...lol
