Posted - Jun 12 2007 : 10:10:13 AM Hi everyone. I have been all over the internet looking for suppliers for packaging and ingredients for natural body care products and soapmaking. I don't know if this is the right place for this but I wanted to ask: Who do you purchase packaging and ingredients from for your business? I am obviously looking for lowest prices and best ingredients, preferably organic. I do purchase locally when I can and am still looking for suppliers around my area to purchase from. I may try the farmer's market today to see what they have this year, as I haven't been yet this spring. I use Mountain Rose Herb and love them, but thought there might be other suppliers that are just as good with a different variety. I am especially stumped on the packaging because it all seems expensive! Thanks for all your help!

Posted - Jun 12 2007 : 11:29:49 AM The suppliers I use most are right here in Washington and Oregon. They are www.libertynatural.com and www.essentialwholesale.com. I have also used www.betweenfriendstoo.com, but they've had some issues lately. www.cotttonblossomcrafts.com is good and so is www.kangarooblue.com .
Hope this helps!!!!
Blessings,
Missy

Posted - Jun 12 2007 : 10:21:28 AM There is a place in Vancouver called "Richard's Packaging". You can google it and they will come up. Granted it is a Canadian firm, but with the difference in the dollar, it might prove to be cheaper for you. They are super nice folks to work with and very willing to help. Another place in Vancouver is "Cranberry Lane" that sells alot of organic ingredients. Might be worth a look even for ideas. Di |
