FYI
I sell my soaps locally (Washington)
They are handmade goat milk, Kefir, and specialty soaps (Like beta-carotene complexion bar made with freshly juiced tomatoes and carrots and red palm oil, or kefir and tea tree oil for anti-bacterial purposes, and Grubby Guy soap, which is made with coffee and grounds for scrubbing dirty hands and eliminating odors)
Besids- they have really cute labels and are so great for your skin. I started making them for my own family, but everybody loved 'em, so...

I just discovered this site the other day, it's the Handcrafted SoapMakers Guild directory at http://www.soapguild.org/find-soapmaker.php

You can search by country, state, province, etc. and find crafters in your area. This helped me, as I would love to buy from you U.S. gals, but am finding the shipping costs so high, even with our Cdn dollar doing so much better now.

Hope this is helpful to all farmgirls.

For homemade soap, and although she's not in Nebraska, let's not forget BotanicalBath (Elizabeth)! She bartered samples (heels) of her soaps with several of us recently and I have never had such wonderfully soft skin. I plan to order full sized bars for personal use and Christmas gifts.

I've got Calendula soap~the oil was infused with it plus it's scented with lemon and lime essential oils.

I will have to try some of the others too. I no longer use any petroleum based soaps due to having psoriasis, mostly on my hands. The calendula is for that and my face. I also make my own laundry soap, it would be fun to mix it up some with scented soaps. I just love handmade things!!

I'm using some of Missy's soap that I got in a soap swap. Nice soap!!

Tracey makes a sheep's milk soap and I've been making soap since '99 and soap from 100% fresh Jersey milk and cream sine '02.

Enjoy Missy's soap - it is nice!

Ok, thanks! I will keep an eye out for when you are stocked back up. I had the wife of a cancer patient telling me last weekend at work how calendula helped clear up his skin after being through chemo and a bit at the hospital. I have been using a mixture I made with oatmeal, castille and calendula flowers and it works but it clogs my sink up! ugh! I am looking forward to experiencing your soap.

Blessings....

Hi- Sorry it took me a bit to respond. I haven't been on here much with work and getting ready to move. I'm beginning to run low on some of my soap, but I definately have some calendula ready to go! I'll be getting my etsy store updated the end of October.

Blessings,

Missy
