Posted - Aug 05 2005 : 6:07:20 PM I have been making these signs for a few years now and people really enjoy them. I make them with barn wood or vintage bead board cut to look like a picket. I can personalize them to say whatever you like. They range in size from 12" to 18" long and hang on a heavy gage wire. They are 12.00 ea. and are light enough that they would probably ship priority.
I have used such words as: cottage garden, eggs for sale, welcome, bonjour, fleurs, herbs, etc. I have attached a link to pictures of two that I have hanging in my garden/chicken coup area.

Posted - May 18 2006 : 10:28:43 PM I would love to make a garden sign for you if I don't already have something that you would like. I have 4-5 white picket signs done. Three have the picket end and two are a straight white board with chippy white paint. The wood came from the coast here in Long Beach, WA. I also have some unpainted barn board pieces and would be happy to put anythiing you want on them. The ones I have done now say:
Fleurs Herbs Bonjour Welcome Garden
Jenny- I would be more than happy to do a Mona sign for you. Let me know what you would like!!
Love and Blessings,
Missy

Posted - May 17 2006 : 09:32:34 AM This is very new to me. I am creating a garden with some of my daughters flowers. She passed away very suddenly just before Christmas. I want a sign in her memory. Is there any available and do you have any pictures? |

Posted - Aug 22 2005 : 09:52:14 AM Jenny -- Missy was just asking me this AM if you had received the signs. I'm so glad that you got them ok. And I think my daughter is very talented, although I'm sure that doesn't carry much weight as I'm prejudiced!

I will post pics of them when I hang them up! My mailcarrier is afraid of my lab so he usually goes to my car in the drive and puts them in my car VERY fast... Posted - Aug 05 2005 : 6:14:17 PM Missy, your signs sound adorable! I tried to view them and yahoo says they are inaccessible. Have a look at the Yahoo Photo Tutorial post in the Tech section for tips on getting that to work right... Then you can go in and modify your message with the update. Can't wait to see!
