I have been making these signs for a few years now and people really enjoy them. I make them with barn wood or vintage bead board cut to look like a picket. I can personalize them to say whatever you like. They range in size from 12" to 18" long and hang on a heavy gage wire. They are 12.00 ea. and are light enough that they would probably ship priority.

I have used such words as: cottage garden, eggs for sale, welcome, bonjour, fleurs, herbs, etc. I have attached a link to pictures of two that I have hanging in my garden/chicken coup area.

Thanks and Blessings

I would love to make a garden sign for you if I don't already have something that you would like. I have 4-5 white picket signs done. Three have the picket end and two are a straight white board with chippy white paint. The wood came from the coast here in Long Beach, WA. I also have some unpainted barn board pieces and would be happy to put anythiing you want on them. The ones I have done now say:

Fleurs
Herbs
Bonjour
Welcome
Garden

Jenny- I would be more than happy to do a Mona sign for you. Let me know what you would like!!

Love and Blessings,

Missy

Hi Betty! Welcome to the forum! My daughter, Missy, is the one who makes the signs. I sent you an email with her email address so you can contact her. She can make a custom sign for you. Click the link in her first post and you will see pictures of a couple she's done.

This is very new to me. I am creating a garden with some of my daughters flowers. She passed away very suddenly just before Christmas. I want a sign in her memory. Is there any available and do you have any pictures?

This month os being pretty rough on us but if Hal gets a bonus in September I'll buy two of them with the girls name on them for over their beds.

you can be oh so smart, or you can be oh so positive. I wasted a lot of time being smart I prefer being positive.

Jenny -- Missy was just asking me this AM if you had received the signs. I'm so glad that you got them ok. And I think my daughter is very talented, although I'm sure that doesn't carry much weight as I'm prejudiced!

Kay and Missy!!! I will be haunting my mailbox/porch wherever my sweet and very smoke filled postman decides to deliver them! Can hardly wait!!!! I will post pics of them when I hang them up! My mailcarrier is afraid of my lab so he usually goes to my car in the drive and puts them in my car VERY fast... My Labrador Retriever "Max" will alert me to their arrival!

Thanks Molly! I just love old barn wood and it's a great way to use the pieces that might not be able to be used on other projects.

Blessings,

Missy

Missy, I love your signs! Can I email you and let you know what I'd like? Something along the line of grapes/vineyard... Let's talk!

Missy, your signs sound adorable! I tried to view them and yahoo says they are inaccessible. Have a look at the Yahoo Photo Tutorial post in the Tech section for tips on getting that to work right... Then you can go in and modify your message with the update.
Can't wait to see!
