Posted - Dec 31 2007 : 4:40:03 PM Lisa..do you have photoshop software on your computer or a photo sharing program that allows you to go in and crop the image smaller? alot of times when you take an image such as the earrings..you can then go into the photo program or other image editing programs on your computer and crop the image in smaller..this then allows you to upload a much more detailed and close up image of the product...Even if you do not have the macro/tulip setting on your camera. With selling of things like jewelry and small detailed products it is helpful. please do not take this as my trying to pick anything apart. just trying to help you to showcase your jewelry to generate more sales and interest. Do you have Picasa software on your computer? It is easy to use and is a free photo editing software that you can download to your computer for free at: http://picasa.google.com/ It allows you to sharpen images, convert to black and white, crop, create collages, etc. I highly recommend it. Another thing that is good to use when photographing jewelry is to get yourself one of those small mini light box studios..available at Office Max stores for like $55 This lights the product perfectly and helps to get real clear and good images. Again..I'm only trying to help. I wish you the absolute best with showing and selling of your jewelry.

Posted - Dec 31 2007 : 12:56:23 PM the macro setting is the little tulip flower setting on most cameras that are digital now. you'll see a little tulip icon on your camera.

Posted - Dec 31 2007 : 12:10:27 PM Lisa, I like the frame you have them framed in. What is it made of?
can I make a suggestion on using the micro setting on your camera and taking a closer up photo of your earrings to show off their detail...they are really cute, but a closer look might show them off a little more! HTH!
