I would go to pbs.com, Frannie. Especially if you want the versions shown. They have a store, right on the site and you can search that way. I think that's the best method.

There is a movie on every Sunday through January at 9:00 on pbs. Last night it was Northanger Abby, the week before it was Pride and Prejudice, and the week before that was Emma. You can buy them--I'm especially going to buy the Northanger Abby--that boy was BEAUTIFUL!!! Pride and Prejudice is my very favorite, and I have two different versions, the BBC version my favorite.

I love the name Emma, also. I'm excited for you and your "future" bundle of joy to spoil!!!

gurlfren ... i'm pleased that one of my little 'orphan chiles' has made another momma happy! and oh lordy! just WHEN are those Jane Austen movies on? i heard about it briefly just before heading for OHIO! what did i miss? i LOVE pride and prejudice .. and want to see them all! wonder if they can be 'bought'? i'd love to have every book she ever wrote .. did you read EMMA? i had it .. gave it to my auntie emma before i had a chance to read it? what is your fav that jane wrote? xo

my auntie emma is one of my two aunts that lovingly raised my brother, sister and me .. my darling daughter's mother-in-love is named EMMA .. and i'm hinting that i love the olde-timey name of EMMA FRANCES for their baby if it is a girl! EMMA for Auntie Emma and Frankie's mom .. FRANCES for (moi) and it is the feminine of FRANCIS (the daddy!) .... wednesday just smiles and says: 'we'll see'. xo

Dear Frannie--
I wanted to write to you so that you would know Miss Amelia Cordilia arrived at the Elsmere station, Kenton County, right on time, and in good health. Her lovely countenance was not overlooked by any who met her in her travels, or upon arrival at the Lynch household. She was received with great enthusiasm at the residence of Ms. Barbara Long of Hopeful Heights, and will be a much cherished addition to the family.

Sorry, too much PBS Jane Austen!!!!

Hey Miss Frannie--
Is there anyway I could get my hands on little Miss Cornelia Amelia with her message of Simplification? I'm thinking she might be a nice message to my momma for her 60th birthday coming in a few weeks. We're also heading down to Halls on the River near Winchester, and doing a little antiquing...any suggestions of your favorite haunts over that-a-way????

Let me know and I'd be glad to send you a check. If Cornelia isn't available, then I'd be glad to swipe Brenda and her baby birdie...with her birdie mouth..how cute!
