Hi ladies, like so many of you I finally took the plunge. My Etsy shop is officially open-not too much there yet as I am still learning the ropes. I have lots to list though! I'd love to be listed along with my other farmgirls on the FGF. Can anyone tell me how to do that? My banner is a little wonky...It's the size Etsy told me, but still not quite right. Anyhoo...stop by & give me your advice! Thanks!

Oh Frannie, Paypal is so easy, as is Etsy...but yes, you do have to have a credit card to sell. I keep ONE-just for that purpose. I think you do well enough on your own, and everyone loves your creations! You just keep on doin' what you do. It's workin'! If you do see something you like on my Etsy (or most anyone's) you can also pay other ways. So you can SHOP Etsy even without a credit card or Paypal. It's a wonderful place to buy supplies for all those pretties you make! 
Rebekah, Thank you for the compliment! The poppets were a departure from my usual style, but they have been very popular at shows. Your theme sounds adorable. Do know that poppets have a button sewn on the front. I wouldn't want a little one to put that in their mouth and be hurt. If you have tiny ones I could change that and put wool "pennies" on the front instead. You can let me know if you decide on them. I'm off to peek at your blog. I need to get on that too!
I made another sale this morning! Such a nice surprise to see in my inbox! I really encourage others to try Etsy. I'm very happy with it.

love your shop! The Poppets are so cute! I am doing my little girls room in a kind of old fashioned nursery ryhmn theme and those would match so well!!! I might just check into that later! Good luck on the new Etsy store!

i agree, "theres no place like home!", i love being a stay at home omie, especially cause i didnt get to be a stay at home mom.
i wish i could figure out the etsy thing, but i cant figure out paypal cause i dont have credit cards.
anyway, rhonda, i really do love your items, to me they look quiant,BUT original.
i will be checkin in on you.

Thanks for your sweet comments Frannie. Coming from you it's a real compliment! I'm having such fun with Etsy...and made another sale today too! It's so nice to have a way to add to family income and still be here for our boys. Thanks for the encouragement.

Thanks ladies, I appreciate all your nice comments! "A breathe of fresh air" WOW, that's so sweet to hear! I'll be trying to get some of my vintage goodies up over the weekend. I put a few things up tonight...so much work to get nice photos! But fun... Thanks again for the encouragement Farmgirls!
