Levi's Grammie (Denise) has jus' adopted Aggedy Mae
thanks .. Grammie!
little 'aggedy mae' has roamed to the foundlin' home and joined
a few other friends. she has brought along with her her 'sewies'
... two dear little pin-keeps .. a baggie full of olde buttons .. tatting thread .. a little extra fabric .. and some snippets of olde lace that used to adorn her maw-maw's nightie. it's kinda' tattered and torn .. but aggedy mae never much minded .. cuz' it smelt of maw-maw's 'violette' toilette water that wuz giv' to her one christmas.
aggedy mae would snuggle up next to maw-maw in the big 'ole feather bed when her grampy went huntin'.
maw-maw and grampy have done gone off to heaven's huntin' grounds .. and there's not a kith or kin left to go live with .. so Parson Taylor down ta' the Hallelujah Amen Baptist Church outta' Green County, Kentucky .. put her in a buggy and sent her to Sister Mercy's in search for a new home.
Aggedy Mae so hopes that a 'sewin' lovin' momma will want her!
Jus' let Sister Frances Catherine know if you'd like for her to come live with you.

Aggedy Mae's sewies .. she's kinda' new at sewin' .. but
sewed on some of that violette-smellin' tattered lace to the bottom
of her dress .. makes her feel snuggly and loved she sez
two pin-pillows that her maw-maw made.

Oh Frannie,
I'm so happy to give her a home. I think she's just adorable. Can't wait to see her for real and make that 'special' place just for her.
