I thought you gals might appreciate some of my rust-dyed goods. I salvage all manner of rusty "junk" (wire, nails, tools, sprockets, nuts, bolts, etc.) and use it to dye with. It makes the most amazing patterns, and is completely colorfast and washable. Here are a couple of my most recent silk scarves. Can be worn as a scarf, headband, or belt, or used as a long tablerunner or even a wallhanging. Supercool! You can find these in my etsy store: http://www.girlwithasword.etsy.com
