Posted - Apr 03 2008 : 3:54:14 PM oh my, Missy, you are funny! So you like my picture taking studio, eh? It is my 100 year old pepper tree where my beloved dog, London, is buried. London saved my life when i first moved here. I was doing laundry, carrying it from the garage to the house, etc and I was not looking at my feet when she, London, came from out of nowhere barking to beat the band (London, normally never barked) I had to put down the laundry basket to see what was making london so upset and she had gotten between me and a coiled baby rattler. I would never have heard it since the baby's rattles do not make noise and i was about to be struck! Scary. The dear dog saved my life! When she passed away from old age we buried her under that pepper tree as an honor. My Mom thinks it is so nice she wants to be buried there too! I don't think state laws will allow it so I told her to make other arrangements or better yet not die!....
