I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner. Who better than to give me input on these than the Farmgirls?!? If you would kindly check out my shop and give me your thoughts on these feed sack purses and totes I would really appreciate it. I am wondering about pricing and presentation. Currently working on a new banner for the shop.

Love your purses! I remember my grandparents kidding about "putting on the feedbag" and if I had one of those purses, I could do just that! They are cute!

Hmmm. It may be because some of the letters are brown and blend in with the background. Cute concept, though. :o) Maybe if all the letters were black or a bright barn red?? |

Yup, that'd be it.
Someone who makes banners (that's what it's called, apparently) did it and while I like the concept, the execution is lacking. I think it's too hard to read.

I added a couple more, including a vintage quilt top purse that's really cute.
I would also like some feedback on my shop banner. I think it's hard to read. I had someone do it for me and didn't have the heart to ask her to change it, but I think I'm gonna have to. It bugs me. :0^

Wow - what an extremely creative idea!! I saw that one bag from Bagdad, Kentucky and was thinking about buying it. Looks like someone got it already. I'm going to have to take a look again and see them. I told my momma about them too. Very handy of a common product. :)

The bears are cute and they're on clearance. WOOT! I made two large batches for the Gooseberry Patch catalog and frankly, I'm bear-ed out. They got Valentine bears and ballerina bears. The others that I listed on Etsy were all samples that I made for them. I have more (different ones) but they're hard to photograph so I doubt I'll list them.

I love the purses/bags. I had to show my co-worker, Lisa Marie, who is a farmgirl also and she really loved them too. You do a great job and I thought the presentation was very good.
The teddy bear pins are cute too.

I enjoy making them because I never know at the beginning quite how they'll look when they're finished. Each on is a little bit different and they challenge my creativity. Plus, it's good to reuse something that's got a lot of life left!
