amy joy is thrilled to be heading for moscow!!
a little rap-tap-tap was heard at the orphanage door late this evening .. and upon opening it .. there stood a bedraggled little 'amy joy'. she even refused milk and cookies and begged simply a bed. sister mercy has tucked her in and said a blessing prayer over her .. and will gently try to learn of her story on the 'morrow'

i have it in 'the back of my mind' to do a little book .. filled with dollies and their adventures. wish i had time to make these books for everyone who adopts .. but it would be faster if each 'momma' jus' did it on their end.
i'd like to do some stories and dollies for 'sofia' to keep forever! (yep! it's on that 'life' TO DO list! xo

oh sweet rebekka .. that chile' is jumpin' for joy .. and the sisters thought she was hoppity-skippity this morning .. well .. she is jus' turnin' cartwheels (sewies flyin' in every direction!)

finally, Amy Joy walked slowly back to the front porch .. sat herself down against the cushiony pillows .. and is doing a little 'sewing' .. but with eyes half closed .. as Blackie sings a morning song.
Sister has returned to the kitchen to prepare a hearty breakfast for Amy Joy, the other Sisters and those little Scandinavian Sisters who have not yet quite packed for their journey to their new homes.
AMY JOY so hopes that she, too, will find someone to love her.

The aroma of fresh growing herbs reached her .. and she wandered over to the herb garden (which, again, tickled her fancy .. as she realized they were planted in an olde pig feeding trough!) .. her favorite is THYME
and sooo .. she picked a little for her pocket to bring to her new momma.

it took a little while, but she managed to climb up one of the cherry trees to celebrate her very own 'Cherry Blossom Festival'.
She started to doze off .. and Sister was a-feared she would fall out!

Amy Joy was heard to be singing a little tune:

(she mentioned she believed, if her memory served her correctly, that she had learned in 'blab school' from Mr. Parker, their teacher, that this was a little poem written by Robert Louis Stevenson).
She said she 'mos' certainly' believed in fairies and elves and gnomes. But sadly, has not seen one jus' yet in person!
