cutie-patootie Patty Cakes is headin' for North Carolina and her new momma!

another sweet little red-head that loves
garden 'tea parties' has arrived!

she brought with her this dear little tiny tea pot
and vintage linen 'napkin' (which appears to be
a corner from a lovely set)

she has asked permission to bring along some
sweet smellies from the orphanage 'storeroom'.
of course, Sister Mercy told her that would be fine.

Patty Cakes carries in her generous apron pocket
a CARROT, SUNFLOWER SEEDS in a sack .. and most
important of all .. a child-hood photo of her own dear momma.
She has not yet told us of her family's story. Shyly says
she does not remember much of it except being rocked to
sleep at night with her momma running her fingers through
her red hair and humming little tunes.

Patty Cakes and her MOMMA when she was a child about
the same age.

Patty Cakes and all her treasures are onliest $22. (and that
includes train fare).

i've found that every rag doll ever created in the world does indeed find a lovin' home. i might take her to 'the shoppe' .. and kathy sugarbucket has been asking me to pleeeeeeeeze bring some dollies to her wonderful bardstown shoppe .. they find homes pretty fast there.

i've found that if they 'hang out' here tooo long .. i jus' can't part with them.

cut, sewed and turned a dozen more 'bodies' last night .. 6 bigguns and 6 medium-size .. gonna stain 'em this morning!

what fun! ... making dollies
