Posted - May 01 2008 : 09:30:10 AM I loved seeing these pictures Miss Wilma- seeing where you live is so fun! I was already convinced that I ought to some visit after Meg's descriptions but now I can really picture it. Someday I will show up on your porch you know. That apron is gonna be so sweet on Meg in her freshly painted kitchen! I am sure she will get lots of kisses in it- with a husband who adores her so it is easy;)

Posted - May 01 2008 : 08:21:54 AM Miss Wilma, it does SO feel like home! Ronna, it is so true. Miss Wilma, I can't wait to come visit again. We had such a lovely time but much too short. MmmMmm, and we ate so well.
ps. Miss Wilma, I think I convinced Rebekka Mae to part with the most hilarious embroidered apron you sent her way! I love it! "Don't kiss me I'm busy". Funny thing is, I'm hoping that I might get even more smooches if I wear it.

Posted - Apr 30 2008 : 11:58:10 AM Ronna - that is so romantic! After all those years, he was home again. Wow.
I try to make folks relaxed at my house, too. And I cook a lot of family meals, etc. But, it is hard for me sometimes. I have antique heart pine floors, and every time a person enters in high heels, there are marks. And my grandkids mark it up all the time dropping toys. Each time, I cringe, and then think - let go Jeannie! People are more important than things. God is constantly teaching me this lesson! :)

Posted - Apr 29 2008 : 8:17:18 PM Being comfortable and looking like home is so important. When Larry and I got back together, after 26 years, he told me in all that time, he never felt like he was at home anyplace else. Made me feel good that both of us were "home" again. If people are relaxed at your house, that's much more important than a fancy showplace anywhere. I did ask Larry this morning about his crazillion unused Delta skymiles...says he only has 100,000, used the rest. That should get me to KY and home again....gotta work on this some more. |

Posted - Apr 29 2008 : 7:19:21 PM Miss Wilma - The photos of yur home are so nice. They look so real, not made to be photogenic, or look good in photoland, just a real house and I would love to pull up in front and knock on your door! Also, I love the bedsteads you have!
Anyway, thanks for posting the new photos.

Posted - Apr 29 2008 : 06:00:33 AM Miss Wilma, what a lovely way to start my day, looking at all your pictures. I love all your pillows, the bags of lace are very tempting, and your house and yard look so beautiful, and green, and trees with leaves on them! I bought seeds for my garden this week, even though I can't plant for a month. I still enjoy looking at pictures of everyone else's gardens. I just found the columbine and the bee balm seeds I saved from last year.... Thank you for sharing all those pictures, we are having a wicked storm here today, started out as freezing rain, then the wind started howling and now I feel like it is hurricane season. I know it's just Mother Nature giving my garden a wake up call.....Karin
