I created a new art work piece..this one is titled "Sweet Home" and 8 by 10 altered art collage work on canvas.
I used a lovely shade of turquoise/robin's egg blue for the background then added reproductions of vintage images. A little victorian girl holding flowers, a bee, a millinery tag, and rose botanicals with a bit of glitter. Then added vintage ribbon embellishment and a vintage mini doily , and added a few button accents.

I love how it turned out.
I hope that you do too.
I really enjoy creating these one of a kind artworks.

hi,
thank you.
I have been using a ever so slightly thinned glaze of Aleene's tacky glue.
but...it can sometimes be a challenge..and I'm going to have to look for a better decoupage type medium.glad you liked it, and no I haven't used a sealer on it as it has fabric and buttons and I don't want the image to look all glossy/shiny...I prefer a more plain look to it.

It's beautiful Tina! I just love the tuquoise color you used! Just our of curiosity, do you have to use some sort of sealer on this? I was just wondering how you keep the little collage things on there? It's very very unique and stylish!
