Posted - Jul 29 2008 : 8:44:37 PM Oh, there you are Renee!! So glad you like the twirlie fabric! I'm moving out of our house we just sold during the month of August and will then be back to the task of sorting more fabric to get listed in my catalog..
It has been overwhelming trying to get the fabric sorted, measured, listed, etc. and then have to go drive 5+ hours to get more fabric to bring back.
Everyone has been just wonderful to work with and want you to know that I can't wait to get this move over with so I can establish something constant with my fabric business..
Lots of vintage Chenille fat quarter bundles coming soon along with all the barkcloth and other goodies.
Hugs to everyone and many thanks for the all of the encouragement!!

Posted - Jun 14 2008 : 8:40:18 PM Denise, it's ok to feel a bit muddled on this move I've been making..LOL I stay muddled over it as well!
Thanks for reading both of my blogs. It's a great way for me to talk about things I love and I truly love folks dropping by and leaving a comment here and there.
Thomas took a longterm temporary (if that makes sense) job in the Memphis area (5½ hrs from the mountain house)..we had prior to this happening decided to sell the house because we think we want to find a cabin in the Tennessee Smokey Mountains when he finishes this job. So in preparation of the house selling we are moving out the overflow of which consists mostly of my vintage fabric stash, my books, patterns,etc..all those necessary things in life
So now I'm cramming what I can in this small apartment and the rest into a climate controlled storage room. So over the next year or better I'll be reducing my stash somewhat and offering it here, on my blog and my website. Collecting the fabric has been a hobby for about 10 years and now I'm enjoying showing all the beautiful pieces I have.
Obviously, alot of it is staying in my personal stash...I just enjoy showing it for other vintage fabric lovers to look. And it's fun too to see what others are collecting. I'll be starting a weekly post from my feedsack collection. That should last at least half a year.
Hugs…
