I wanted to post a couple new paintings I am just finishing up. The foal, a 24 x 30 acrylic is at www.kidronarts.com (I am still tweaking) and the chicken is here, a 12 x 12 acrylic :

I may still tweak with this one too but not too much more.... I am offering them for sale at an art festival but if anyone is interested here let me know. :) I am also going to make them into fine art prints.

Thanks for looking!

I have switched species again and am now back to equine art. :) I also am just finishing up a lovely alpace portrait for one of our own farmgirls right here from maryjanesfarm :) The work in progress is on my blog.

In Sept. I am going back into the 'Buggy Barn' at Lehman's here in Kidron to do some more mural work-- some of you may remember the life sized team of Amish work horses in painted in the early spring.... I'll be posting more 'work in progress' pics on my blog for that too when I get started. I am trying to decide what to paint and right now its a toss up between a haflinger foal or a young mule. I am open to suggestions!

Thanks!

Thank you Karen, Stephanie and Beverley!

The art show was lots of fun and went well. I have pics on my web site. Go to Kidron Art Group from my home page (menu on the left) and you can see me painting a giant cow next to the painting I did of the life sized horses. :)

Thank you Aunt T. You made my day. :)

I actually got inspired to use these colors by seeing a portrait of a man in this same color palette. The portrait was quite serious so I think its fun that my 'serious' portrait is a chicken! LOL!

Sue! Beautiful! I checked out your website and if is fascinating! I hope you do not mind for me saying because I mean it totally as a compliment, but I think the colors you use remind me of N.A. Noel. You are sooooo talented! I truly mean that.
