I just put five feed sack purses (and one vintage quilt top purse) up in my Etsy shop. I have probably 15 or so to add between there and my website, but I'm headed for bed, girls. Tomorrow is another day and I prefer outdoor photos, anyway. I may end up redoing some of these but I was anxious to get 'em listed.

Good night, y'all.

I am very glad to hear you got lots of feed sacks to work from! :)

Hi Sue!
Those particular (purple) seed sacks only come in small sizes, but I will be on the lookout for something larger that has purple in it. ;0)

Susie,
send him a link to my website (I specifically refer to hints there, after all... I have a hubby too).

Shucks, girls, you're makin' me BLUSH. Thank you for your very kind comments.

As for those of you who are longing for one and are saving your pennies - don't worry - I have a pile of 200+ feed/seed/flour sacks so I won't be running out any time soon.

And yes, Rosemary, in my opinion "elegant" and "feed sack" CAN live in the same sentence and coexist in a simple little purse very well. ;0)

Oh Ginny, if only I weren't so broke! Your designs are absolutely fabulous. I really like your color sense, and the way you blend textures. Can "elegant" and "feed sack" really live in the same sentence together? I think so!

Ginny I really like your purses and totes. The thing I love the most about them is that they are made from the feed sacks with writing and not necessarily the pretty print fabric feed sacks. I like it a lot!!! Great work!
